Document checklist
- Application form (online or PDF), filled in completely!
- Debt collection register extract (no older than 3 months)
- Salary certificate or latest tax assessment (mandatory where income limits apply)
- Copy of the ID or foreign national permit of every adult
- Short cover letter
- For families: details of the children (occupancy)
Cover letter: what counts
Short (one page at most), personal, specific: who are you, why this particular estate, what will you bring to the community (estate committee, garden, helping neighbours)? Cooperatives look for a good social mix and commitment, not empty phrases.
Common reasons for rejection
- Occupancy rules not met (too few people for the number of rooms)
- Incomplete documents
- Income above or below the limit for subsidised flats
- Application sent after the deadline: that is why a fast alert pays off.
Never miss a flat again.
All listings with application links, alerts included. Basis from CHF 4.13 a month, cancel at any time.
